When Sunday's OoP was only on the iPhone app, I'm pretty sure (I remember double-checking, since I find it so easy to read things incorrectly off the app on a small screen, as I proved with the draw!) it showed Laura first on whatever court she was due to play on. I assume it was changed once they had to suspend play with quite a few QR1 matches unfinished.

If I remember correctly the weather was awful the last time Laura played Gallovits-Hall and that didn't go too well. Other than that a match Laura should be winning on a hard court. As it's the first match of the season, I will try not to read too much into the score and just enjoy being able to follow Laura again.

Looks like Anne is back on about 6.30ish for the fqr against Burnett (assuming she wins the 1st match obviously)

It certainly gives Gallovits a better chance, given her less expansive game. Laura has played well enough in coolish conditions, but given the windchill will probably make it feel more like 0C I'll just be happy with any sort of win.

Very good win from Laura to start the season - gaining revenge on Gallovits-Hall from 2010 by handing out a thrashing of her own!

Nice that Laura was the beneficiary of several double faults at key moments and not the culprit.

Niculescu has an unorthodox style which Laura will hate playing against so will provide a much tougher test than today's match.
