R1: [Q] CRAWFORD, Liberty (GBR) UNR vs. CASCINO, Estelle [7] (FRA) 891 (CH: 782 Feb, 2012) [H2H: 0-0]
R1: DEIGMAN, Laura (GBR) 1026 vs. ROBINSON, Casey (USA) 934 (CH: 912 Oct, 2012) [H2H: 0-0]
Cascino is a 16 year old who already made a $10K final, last month in Guimaraes, when ranked 1068. Robinson is 21 and recently made a SF in the Mexico City $10K; in October , when ranked 1042.
R1: DEIGMAN, Laura (GBR) 1030 beat ROBINSON, Casey (USA) 937 by 2 & 2
I don't completely understand which conferences or colleges are better than others, but at first sight it looks like Robinson was pretty successful http://www.sjuhawks.com/sports/w-tennis/mtt/robinson_casey00.html - the fact that she is only just out of college partly explains the American's low rank and that plus her run to the semis in Mexico a few weeks ago (which IF mentioned above) suggest this is a really good win.
Laura plays the winner of Liberty's match in R2.

0-6 *0-4 - Cascino has now won 22 games out of 22 against Brits in 10Ks (she double bagelled Jemma Buckler in September, though Tara Moore beat her 1 & 4 in a 25K last year)

Break retrieved, but lost again at precisely the same point of set 2, as in set 1 (the "business end"). At least it's relatively competitive, but you can't exactly call her opponent a marquee player to be honest. Break points in the 10 game, so very tight.
