Alex Ward should be the top seed here, with Marcus Willis joining him in the main draw again too.

QR1: (wc) Humzah Mahmood UNR lost to (q2) Warit Sornbutnark (THA) WR 1116 by 6-3 7-6(4)
QR1: Jathan Malik UNR beat (q10) Hung Jui-Chen (TPE) WR 1353 by 6-4 7-6(3) biggrin

FQR: Jathan Malik UNR beat (q6) Antoine Richard (CAN) WR 1240 by 6-2 7-6(3) biggrin

Jathan broke a 5-match losing streak coming into this event by beating two ranked players to qualify for a Futures main draw for the 4th time this year. He has had one wild card as well and is 0-4 in R1s so far. (obviously, else he'd be ranked)

L32: (1) Alex Ward WR (Q) Mico Santiago (USA) WR 1876
L32: Marcus Willis WR 1022 v Elbert Sie (INA) WR 1005
L32: (Q) Jathan Malik UNR v Mick Lescure (FRA) WR 978

These two were meant to be doubles partners, but have given a walkover so maybe one is injured?

QF: (1) Alex Ward WR 436 v Marcus Willis WR 1022

Marcus leads the (Challs & Futs) H2H 3-1 but his lead comes from 2 wins in 2009. Their more recent meetings were on grass in successive weeks around Wimbledon time last year - two close matches with one win each.

Alex lost the first 2 games of the Final, but won 12 of the next 14, so ...

FINAL: (1) Alex Ward WR 436 beat (4) Mikhail Fufygin (RUS) WR 534 (CH 484 in Apr) by 3 & 1

This is the 3rd Futures singles title of his career (his first for exactly a year), and he has won it without dropping a set smile

It means that with a 10-2 record in Thai 10Ks this month, Alex has managed to make up 26 of the 27 points due to come off from his last Futures title on Monday week.
