And then obviously lost his own serve as he's gone down 4 and 3 cry

Never mind, a great week for Luke nonetheless and knowing him I'm sure he gave it everything he had. Zverev is clearly a name to watch for the future.

Hopefully Luke should be around the 800 mark when the rankings are updated, having been unranked up until April, and has a good platform to build on for 2013.

Zverev would have taken Richard Gasquet's record as the youngest player ever to have won a Futures title had he won today, but ended up only holding serve once today, going down 0 & 1 to Florian Reynet.

Gasquet won Bournemouth Futures in May 2002 aged 15y 323d, having beaten Bloomers in the FQR to qualify and Barry Cowan in the main draw. He also won one leg of a Satellite series a few weeks earlier.
