That's a very good result. So each of the team has had a chance to shine in at least one tournament. A nice division of labour.
Let's hope. But as Steven pointed out, Garza handed out a 0 and 1 thrashing to Luke only 3 months ago, so I'd be very surprised (and delighted) if he won this next one. Expecting a big improvement for sure, but with the previous scoreline, suggests this could be one of those awkward match-ups for Luke.
Talking of which, here's a strange circular run of results over the last 4 weeks of the US futures trip for our 3 teens.....showing how you can never be certain about results!
Luke destroys Thacher in 2: 0 and 2
2 weeks before, this same Thacher beats Liam convincingly in 2: 4 and 4
Liam had just beaten Kyle easily in 2 the day before: 3 and 1
But Kyle beat Luke easily the week before in 2: 5 and 1
Go figure........

they are all as good as each other, but they have fairly frequent off days!
Another message from martin to Luke on twitter , suggesting like may have one ! Luke could quite easily have finished by now so is logical ! It's just not clear if he's encouraging him for today or congratulating him, fingers crossed !!
Stunning from Luke , so we've had one of the boys reach the Demi's in each of the four US tourneys, very impressive ! And worth noteing Luke has had quite a few big wins over all these tourneys , not just this one, very promising for him
SF: Luke Bambridge WR 893 v Sascha Zverev (GER) WR 1165
Zverev is the 15-year-old (yes, 15!) younger brother of ex-top 50 player Mischa - he won his QF despite winning 4 games less than his opponent (Bangoura, whom Luke beat 3 weeks ago) 7-6(6) 0-6 7-6(5)!

Luke now a set and a break down. Zverev is 15 and a half!!!! Impressive kid.
Yes kind of a wake-up call for us when we've been getting excited about our 17-year-olds.........
Zverev is however the son of a former top 200 ATP player and a former top 400 WTA player AND the brother of a former top 50 player, so tennis does kind of run in the family!
4-6 *2-5
