Talk about tantalising!  From the Beeb's tennis Twitter about 50 minutes ago:

Great insight from @colin_fleming on @BBC5LSX revealing all the partner-swapping planned for next year. Most top teams mixing up

So far, nobody's elaborated.  Just not fair on those at work who can't listen to the radio commentary! furious

Lindstedt/Zimonjic, Tecau/Mirnyi and Bhupathi/Nestor. Bopanna wants to get back with Qureshi but Qureshi hasn't decided whether to stick with Rojer or not.

Cheers, wolf.   I haven't time to mess about finding the right place on iPlayer!  I seem to remember seeing somewhere a while back that Qureshi wasn't entirely happy with JJR as his regular partner & was going to split up with him.

Interesting that 5 Live had Colin and Sky TV had Ross on commentary during Jonny's match. Wonder if they'll swap round for his other matches or if Colin just prefers the radio and managing to avoid Barry Cowen.

I know the mere mention of Andrew Castle's name is enough to set the teeth of a lot of people on this on edge (he rather irritates me, too! wink ), but he still moves in tennis circulares & must pick up whispers.  In his column for this morning's Metro in which he discusses the boys' superb win yesterday, he suggests that Jonny "could pair up with Paul Hanley next year".  Unfortunately, he spends most of the rest of it urging Freddie to "stick with Marray", primarily for the following reason:

I feel he is turning his back on guaranteed income and if I were advising Freddie, I would tell him to stick with Jonny for a year or two and make the most of being Wimbledon champions.

It's abundantly clear from the quotes he gave OEM for today's Times that he's not overly concerned about money:

The reason why I play tennis is because I love it.  I'm not a singles player or a doubles player.  I'm not prepared to sacrifice ont thing for the other.  If I changed my philosophy and my outlook on life in order to play doubles, then it wouldn't make me happy.

If I skipped singles now, it would be for the sake of results and money and that kind of stuff.  That's never going to motivate me.  Quite the contrary, it's going to make it not enjoyable for me.  If I sacrifice that, then I'm sacrificing the beliefs that I'm playing tennis on and I'm not ready to do that.

Quite an altruist!  And a very refreshing attitude in this day & age.

Thought Colin gave a really interesting insight into doubles on 5live. Well worth a listen if you get the chance.

Another stroll in the park.  Into the SFs as group winners  biggrin

Saved a MP again at ( * 9 - 10 ) and won it on their second, having had their nose just ahead for most of the MTB.
