Not an arguement that I'd say can be made based on one good result by Sean against Dan, who for whatever reason hasn't seemed in the best of form in the last few weeks.  Nor do either Sean or David's singles results in general this year look that good comparative to what they have previously done in singles 

Might be helpful for some players to play some doubles at times.

Would seem to be an argument for saying that playing doubles at a higher level can be good for your singles, too. Or not?
