L32: Dan Smethurst WR 360 v (8) Denis Kudla (USA) WR 162 L32: Alex Bogdanovic WR 332 v Steve Johnson (USA) WR 165 (= CH)
So Dan has drawn the Lexington Challenger winner who beat Boggo in the QFs here last year, while Boggo has drawn the Aptos Challenger winner, who is at a career high 165 despite having had 4 months out (Mar-Jun) this year ...

R1: Denis Kudla & Jesse Levine (USA/USA) v David Rice & Sean Thornley
David and Sean will be on the live stream on the USTA site, 5th on the main court not before 9.30pm UK time tomorrow. Edward and Boggo are 2nd and 4th on the second court.
Very impressive win for Mr Corrie. No shame for Mr Milton in losing to Mr Quigley; he's another of the recently graduated and underranked players ... runner-up to Mr Johnson for the national championships this year. (Then again, Mr Buchanan was also a national champion in doubles ....)
FQR: Ed Corrie WR 507 lost to Eric Quigley (USA) WR 652 by 4 & 2
All these *$&@ under-ranked college boys in these US events - it's a minefield ... and one I fear will blow up Boggo's chances tonight too, but I'd love to be proved wrong!

He's holding his own at the moment, but they've played only nine games: *4-5.
