A bit sad that of the 7 (out of 18) Brits who survived R1, only one (Farquharson) beat a non-Brit, though to be fair all of the Brits who lost to non-Brits were outranked by at least 400 places and Tom himself was outranked by nearly 1200 places.

Remaining R2 results added into the last post - a bad loss for Evo but a convincing win for Neil, who should now crack the top 500 on Monday week.
Think you've maybe miscounted, Steven ( says he bravely ). That win will just take Neil to 57 points on Monday week, currently about WR 524. Reaching the SFs would take him to 62 points, on the verge of the current top 500.
Unless you think he's got Knittel's number

QF: (1) David Rice & Sean Thornley WR 387 vs Laurynas Grigelis & Giuseppe Menga (LTU/ITA) UNR
David & Sean being put to the sword a bit at the moment: they lost the first set by 6-7(?) & were 0-2 in the second, but have just recovered the break & stand at *1-2.
saw knittel in glasgow my view is he will be too strong for pauffley but i hope i am proved wrong. Is Evans still with the same coach? There was no sign of the Belgium guy in Glassgow === evo not doing too good at moment. Good win for Farquharson I hope Burn did not smash his racket like he did in Glasgow when Bloomfield beat him!

D'oh! You're right - I used 54 from the top 25 table as the start value, then added the 8 from last week and the 3 from this week, but I read the 54 off the wrong column so ended up double-counting last week's points.
