One step too far.
But 68 points from the last 2 events is more than satisfactory. Hopefully the confidence isn't dented by this result against a quality opponent, and the rich vein of form can be mined further for even greater reward.

Ah, pity but I had a bad feeling from early on as I started reading at the beginning that the thread only went to 5 pages, and then how it was going.

But it is good to see that Sam seems to have continued in very decent form here. As to ever beating Melanie, clearly IF was just overly carried away with a few good recent results  wink

Naa, as I suggested earlier, Oudin was someone that a real turnover might have been possible against. Clearly difficult to really know what level both were playing at.

Pity about these game points ( and indeed many of these BPs ) that got away, but I do think it is quite usual that the more experienced player at a level, and higher ranked, finds a way to win such points ( and maybe the other player a way to lose them ).
