If you consider his ranking within the 1993s he has slightly improved his position since the start of the year (currently 8th highest, but a long way behind Jiri Vesely and Jason Kubler, who are in the top 300), which if he maintains that will see him eventually make the top 100. However Evo was in a better position at a similar stage and is still a long way from that goal.
So yes, quite promising, gaining consistency in Futures, but needs to make the step up to Challengers next year
I think it is in some ways fair to point out about Evo, but in other ways he's not the best barometer for very much. I do agree with David's final line.
