Pauffley was in the early stages of his match - he looks quite handy.
I think that means all 14 matches involving Brits went to the higher-ranked player today - making the GB top 25 table a sea of blue (blue for a win, obviously - or at least, it will be when 'free'webs stops playing up[ and lets me upload it!), since all those in the GB top 25 won. Like RJA, I did think Marcus Willis would win though.

Yes, all 14 of the 17 GB top 25 players playing this week ( all in futures ) have won their R1 matches with just the USA trio to come in. Corrie should have played his Tuesday match, but don't know the result. But whatever, we can't have all 17 win, because Smethurst plays Milton tomorrow - boo.
