The Kraut WCs reached the final courtesy of a walkover against the third seeds, Blecha & Sikora, a 3 & 2 win over a German pair ranked 2777 & a 4 & 4 win over the German top seeds, Dinslaken & Massow (WR 1068), so are probably not to be underestimated.
