I presume you were really meaning all the seeds in the bottom half lost in R1, as indeed they did. James was the highest ranked player ( well based on last week's rankings anyway ) left in the bottom half going into R2
Oops, yes, bottom half - and of course being the highest-ranked unseeded player in the first place, he must have been the highest-ranked player left in the bottom half as you said.
