Darn  cry   Not so good read after moving from the Heather ( I mean Osaka ) thread.  

Very good week really, but that was a vital match to retain faint hopes of being in the 1st ALT spot for the WTF.

So a British pair makes the Semifinals of a Masters Series tournament. They are playing on the main court, alongside Berdych/Djokovic and Federer/Murray. It's a vital match, as they are playing the other team in contention for the last spot (main or alternate) in the World Tour Finals. That they are in this position is itself an accomplishment which rewards a year of tremendous consistency, despite their missing some key tournaments because of injuries.

You might think the BBC tennis webpage would notice. You would be wrong.

What do people not surnamed Murray, Robson or Watson need to do to get a mention?!
