Does anyone know what the situation is regarding Marray/Nielsen participating? Nielsen hasn't played since Metz in September.
Marray & Nielsen will be in unless 12 teams overtake them, which I wouldn't have thought was even mathematically possible. I would have thought they should have been confirmed at the same time as Paes & Stepanek, but they will be at the end of this week I guess.
Nielsen has been playing challengers in America last 2 weeks.
Thanks Wolfie.
On that basis it'll be the 7 top teams + Marray/Nielsen (unless they're overtaken by 12 teams per your explanation above!!!).
I take it from people's comments that there's only one set of doubles ALTs?
From the Rules it says 1 Alternate for Singles and 1 Alternate pair for doubles but they usually have a 2nd Alt lined up to be around London IIRC. I

SF: Colin Fleming & Ross Hutchins vs (7) Rohan Bopanna & Mahesh Bhupathi (IND/IND)
Hmm, the pair currently occupying the 1st ALT spot for the WTF, 930 points ahead of them. So really a must win to have any hope of making even that spot and, you never know, someone could pull out of the WTF.
Granollers had an injury issue in the Davis Cup SF doubles last month though played through it, and then retired from his singles in Metz the following week, and he and Marc Lopez haven't been seen since. Hmm...
