Speaking of eurosport. Has anyone else heard that they will not renew for wta rights. Apparently it's going to bt vision. Means not being able to watch heather or Laura as they play more regularly on main tour for me. Anothersh subscription channel. Sheesh.

What great news re Heather  biggrin   And thanks again IF for the commentary.

Tremendous to have the first British women in a WTA final for 3 weeks  wink  And digging into my memory banks that opponent was from Taiwan too.

I had been looking at Stosur's stats and with all these WTA semi finals, referred to earlier, I'd heard and confirmed that she's only won 3 WTA title. But anyway, forget her.   It's Chang who will clearly be tough, but Heather looks to be  at the top of her form, and this is very winnable.  

Let's now hope this can also be our first WTA doubles finalist since xxxx  and our first to achieve both WTA singles and doubles titles since yyyy, but the bestest will be if she wins the first GB WTA singles title since zzzz.

Unlike Laura is ( now was ? )  didn't see Heather down for Barnstaple.  In some ways, unlike Laura, it will be a pity if that's it for the season for her, but still great end. 

Now go girl,  WTA title, GB No 1 and possibly top 50, it would indeed be a really great end to her season.
