So proud and happy for Hev, was following livescore via my phone, whilst half a sleep. And now its Chang, well big opportunity and will be very nervy for both players.

Jie & AMG took their only break point of the set, and that was enough. Kimi & Heather actually had more chances in that set, but couldn't convert either of them

F: WATSON, Heather (GBR) 71 vs. CHANG, Kai-Chen (TPE) 134 (CH 82, July 2010) There is no H2H record
The assessment a couple of hours of someone calling himself Michael-J on the Beeb site:
Kai-Chen Chang just upset Stosur, so Heather will be playing her in the final. She's currently ranked 134 in the world but is playing well above that level.
Both the serve and return have been very potent. She plays an agressive attacking style and all her percentages have been consistently high.
Followed by:
At the rate her opponent has been playing, I'm not sure if Heather would beat her in the final; but Kai-Chen has just played really beat Robson and Stosur in third set tie-breaks back-to-back, so if her consistency turns out a bit hung-over from those matches, then Heather will have a good chance.
There seems to be a word or two missing between "really" & "beat".
Edit: P.S. The article on which the comments appear hasn't been updated to mention the doubles win yet, though!

"so if her consistency turns out a bit hung-over from those matches"
What a turn of phrase thsse at the beeb can come out with - EEK !
I agree that the calibre of the journalists employed by the Beeb these days is nowhere near what it used to be, but to be fair, the quotes I posted earlier came from a poster on the site (hence the fact that I saw fit to name him as "Michael-J" [& I take this opportunity freely to admit that I haven't a clue what NotAClue was driving at in his (her?) reply to my post!]), not from one of Aunty's hacks, so I'd say it's fairly typical of the kind of language I see regularly on message boards & blogs...
Ah, got you. My apologies to the Beeb ( on this occasion ). Anyway, certainly not the turn of phrase say an eloquent actor like Michael J Fox would come out with.

Tie Break *0-0 1-0* 2-0* Mini for Watson *3-0 2 breaks in a row for Heather *3-1 Misaki gets one back 3-2* Urrrggghhh! Back on serve. 4-2* Back one mini up *5-2 Yes! 2 breaks in a row again. Just hold these 2 points... *6-2 four set poins 7-2
And that's the first set in the bag for Heather, coming from behind to eventually be just the stronger player
