Although, yes a big ranking gap, Kyle is young guy we hope is still very much on the up with a limited number of senior tournaments to his name this year. So i would certaibly say he is very underranked as to his ability and I expect to be very competitive against more experienced players in the 400s ( as he has been this year having had a 3 - 3 record coming in this week against such players whilst winning the majority of matches against lower ranked playesr and losing the majority against higher rankred players )
Clearly wasn't to be today, but i don't expect huge consistency yet and it does still llook fairly competitive anyway. Good luck to Kyle with whatever his plans are for the USA.
Why the US? For futures? Or training? Or the big end-of-year junior events? Or all of the above?
He has entered (provisionally at this stage) the futures in Birmingham Alabama for the 22nd Oct. However, as the other two Brits that have entered are Luke Bambridge and Liam Broady, it suggests that may be something may be brewing in the "junior" department.
Of course, it could just be that they enjoy travelling together and it is just for the futures.
