From the way the scoring went maybe Laura was not at her best but very much a case of a player full of confidence versus one short of confidence.

Already three really good tournaments back to back, and now she has got the expected wins another chance to make some headlines

Great win for Laura!!!

Her next oppo is still being decided on Moon Court right now. Vinci leads 7'6(4) and is about to serve at *4-5 against Dominguez-Lino.

After the slow start, a solid win for Laura, sort she would expect now I suppose.
Probably Vinci next, who has showed some very good hard court form over the summer in North America.
She's currently finding Dominguez Lino a tough prospect though.

Be very difficult for Laura to crack the top 50 at this tournament, as A-Rad stands in the way too.

Vinci v Dominguez-Lino into a third 7-6 6-7, no breaks at all in their second set which is surprising as I don't recall either player having a brilliant serve. Laura won't mind her next opponent having a three hour battle today.

Heather down 0-3 in the doubles. Hopefully just a Laura style slow start, but this match looked like a tough one before it even started.
