Great standard of play (except all the double faults - but who's complaining???!!)

Brilliant determination in the end from Hev ... now looking to close out a tough tight match against a quality opponent ... still a tough ask but fingers crossed and hopeful

Well done Heather! It must have been a bit like facing a firing line once 'Pova did manage to get a service in. 8 double faults, and I think nearly all of them came in the last few games while I have been watching.

Only just noticed the roof is closed. Presume that it has been all along?

I recall the commentators saying it was closed soon after I started watching - which was just over an hour ago.

As someone who has always been more down on Hev compared to someone like Robson, I can say that this match has really impressed me regardless on how it ends ... The defensive ability, and the ability to turn great defense into offense against one of the active greats has shown to me at least that the talent from Hev is definitely there for top 30 or better ... Im loving where Women's tennis is going for GB right now!!

Thanks.  Bit strange as all other matches in play but obviously  there is risk of rain. Possibly Hev is happy to have it closed though.

I agree, some absolutely beautiful play from Hev at times. (Again, whatever the final result)
