Brits lost 8/9, only Konta won. Anna did well, but at 30-30 in the past game, an ace of hers got called out Dodgy line calling again, even one of the officials was embarassed!
As Indiana says, in many ways not that shocking a day (all the Brits who have lost were considerably out-ranked, though it's a pity only Anna managed to win a set against a higher-ranked opponent) but last year, the Brits picked up 188 ranking points here whereas this year it's going to end up being just 9 + whatever Jo ends up with.
That's not comparing like with like, of course - Heather and Anne both played here last year and were responsible for 108 of those points between them, but still a sobering stat.

Just seen some little bits of Johanna's match (thanks to a clever friend 'capturing' parts for me) - she looks good. Consistent depth with her ground strokes, and the serve looks quite useful - some nice angles too, and quick to end a point when the opportunity arose. Really hope she has a good run here.
Always hoped for one good other showing, over the rankings, but today everyone seems to have been pretty much outclassed. Even those for who we do, or at one time or the other in the past, have, had hopes for better (even optimisitcally, 'great') things - Broady, Moore, EWS, Whybourn.
From what's been said, it seems none of them looked like stepping up, and are possibly all unlikely to improve upon their current best, or the best they achieved in the past. No returns/entries to the neighbourhood of the top 150-200, or thereabouts, seems realistically likely from any of them, despite occasional glimpses from each of such potential previously.
Outside the top 5, is there much to hope for. Even then, I think the top 5 is very soon to become 4, and possibly 3, as the stalwart Elena & Anne seem set, in the medium term at best, to bring their fine careers to a close.
Johanna's R2 match is second match on Court 1 tomorrow.
Proceedings start at 10:30, so hopefully it will fill the lunch hour nicely. With the hoped for win better than any dessert (even if you're cakeaholic, like Judy Murray).
2½ British pairs made it through in the doubles. Konta/Elliott, Webley-Smith/Murray and Lucy Brown, (with Amy Bowtell) all got through. All face seeds next; numbers 1, 3 and 4 respectively.
