Yeah very disappointing indeed, frustrating when you see some of the youngsters seemingly stalled and not only not progressing further but losing to much lower ranked players.
Worth noting however that Ward's ranking is better than his recent form. Of his 93 points only 28 have been won this year. If he doesn't sort things out his ranking will plummet over the next two months.
In his defence, he has been injured and had an operation (on his knee i believe) a couple of months back. Losing to lower ranked players will often be a consequence until he's fully match fit.

True, however his form prior to his injury wasn't great either. In any even lets hope he can have an Autumn to at least match last year.
