Boggo is a DA here and looks like being the top seed. Qualifying is one of those monster 128 man affairs.

So finally proper tennis back, after a few weeks of basically nothing to talk about, Boggo is back in action in the 1st Rd of doubles in a 10k, this ladies and gentlemen, is real tennis.

He's teamed up with Sam Holt and they take on Abid and Novikov.

he's also top seed in the singles, and takes on Karagezian WR 1036, i assume on Wednesday.

yeah, not really too bothered on that, hopefully a decent work out for Alex after the break to help him get back up to speed, I pointed out to him he doesn't want to expend too much energy in the dubs, were hoping for a lot of wins over the next 3 weeks afterall.

glad he came through what seems like a pretty routine win, he did say after his dubs he wasn't keen on the courts here.

Verryth will be tougher i think, they met last year at Newport qualies, came coming through 4 & 5.

Boggo has just started - Ken is wondering why he hasn't played since July and why the LTA didn't help him out with wild cards during the GB grass court season.

Is "Working Brit" someone from here too? Because if so, Ken has just offered to buy us a Guinness if he's ever in a 'tavern' in the UK for giving him such good info.

Ken said he might be over in December for a seniors event. you cna take him up on it then.
