Sounds fine to me. We don't cover wheelchair tennis that much (since we can't do everything!) but I imagine this counts as their biggest event by far - the fields look to be bigger than at the slams.
The British team, with singles and doubles rankings, is:
Men's Wheelchair
Gordon Reid WR 9 - DWR 12 Marc McCarroll WR 21 - DWR 14 David Phillipson WR 22 - DWR 28 Alex Jewitt WR 34 - DWR 38
It would be quite a surprise if a Brit got a medal in the men's (non-quad) events here but not impossible.
Women's Wheelchair
Lucy Shuker WR 9 - DWR 6 Jordanne Whiley WR 12 - DWR 7 Louise Hunt WR 22 - not playing doubles at the Paralympics
It would be a massive shock if Esther Vergeer failed to win the singles gold medal here but Lucy and Jordanne will fancy their chances of a doubles medal, I'm sure. There was a good spot on Jordanne on News at 10 earlier this week.
Quads
Peter Norfolk WR 3 - DWR 1 Andy Lapthorne WR 4 - DWR 3 Jamie Burdekin WR 5 - not playing doubles at the Paralympics
Peter has won the last two Paralympic titles but his perennial rival David Wagner has got the better of him quite often since then and is currently world no. 1. Norfolk and Wagner were the top two by miles for a long time but Noam Gershony (ISR) knocked the Quadfather out of the top two in July. As you can see, GB would hope for a medal or two here, with Peter & Andy in the doubles probably the best chance for gold.

Just saw that Peter Norfolk will be the GB flagbearer for the Paralympics, and wondered whether it was appropriate to have a topic relating to the Paralympics? Don't know whether that's OK or not ... over to the moderators!
Looking for a Paralympic tennis thread, this one from 2012 was all I could find!
I've just watched Andy Lapthorne win his Rio 2016 Quad semi-final 6-3 2-6 6-3 against world no. 2 David Wagner USA - cue disbelief, tears and then epic celebrations (not sure if it'll still be here but Day 5 tennis evening session on http://paralympics.channel4.com/watch-live/?cntsrc=search_omd_paralympics_p3para_google&cntsrc=search_ppc_omd_paralympics_google - the match finished around 10pm local / 3am BST), though spare a thought for the American, who won silver in Athens and bronze in Beijing (Peter Norfolk won the gold medal in both cases), and then silver again in London - he looked utterly gutted, having just had his dream of finally getting a gold medal shattered.
Andy plays top seed Dylan Alcott (AUS) in the Final. The H2H is 4-14, 1-4 this year.
A big shock in the women's event, as 3rd seed Jordanne Whiley lost in the QFs to the Dutch no. 4 (an up-and-coming 19-year-old) - I saw some of that match and she had an absolute nightmare That said, the Dutch no. 4 is the world no. 6, all of the previous Paralympic women's wheelchair singles finals (all 6 of them) have been all-Dutch affairs and they've won all the previous women's doubles golds too. Esther Vergeer was responsible for a lot of that, obviously, but not all of it. Jordanne and Lucy went out of the doubles too, so the best they can do now is to match their bronze from 2012, which means Jordanne still won't be able to get a higher Paralympic medal than her father won in the 100m back in 1984.
It was a good day for GB's top (non-Quad) men too, with 3rd seed Gordon Reid and 18-year-old 13th seed Alfie Hewett (who upset the 4th seed in 3 sets) both beating Frenchmen to make the singles QFs and getting into the doubles SFs together too

An all British final in the men's singles. Brilliant from Gordon Reid and Alfie Hewett.
Andy Lapthorne's quad singles final is about to start with a stream - http://paralympics.channel4.com/watch-live/day-live-wheelchair-tennis-finals-1243735/
They are doing so well!
I haven't been able to watch much from Rio. Really hope the final will be at a civilised time (for us!) - but then it will probably clash with DC...
So much good tennis at the moment!
Just read that Andy Lapthorne and Jamie Burdekin's quad doubles bronze medal match - d. Itai Erenlib and Shraga Weinburg (ISR) 3-6 6-4 7-6 - was, at 4 h 25 mins, the longest Paralympic match of any sport ever. In 37 degree heat. That's some level of fitness and stamina! Well done the team.
Gordon Reid and Alfie Hewett won silver in the doubles: Stefane Houdet/Nicolas Peifer (FRA) d. Gordon Reid/Alfie Hewett (GBR) 6-2 4-6 6-1. Sounds like another amazing match: C4 has quite a bit of the match on Twitter - including one very fine two minute rally.
