From memory, there is no facility for commentary or coverage from Court 7. Short of having a reporter with a radio backpack whispering surreptitiously, I don't think they can cover the macth other than to report the scores.
Hmmm maybe, but the court has alot or raised seating on one side, so it's not a completely minor court.
Hoping Serena will finish them 5LSX might commentate on Jo's match.
5 LSX are interviewing some American, no mention of JoKo even since winning the 1st set!
It's live scoring only at this rate, I've fired off an email (in disgust) , but it might go to the feedback programme rather than 5 live itself.
It appears that Roddick is retiring after this tournament- "some American" is Rodders, they're commentating on his press conference.
Have you got the email addy, I want to send one too. I think it's disgusting.
This is a live tennis programme and there's a live singles match involving a British player, and there's no commentary - not even a mention of the game and she's just won the first set, and you're interviewing an American!
That's what I wrote! (Miriambee)
I don't know Addy!, at last, just hearing a mention, on 5 live, saying they will update periodically.

True.
In fact there is only TV coverage available on AA, LA, GS, 17, 13 & 11.
There is a sky crane that can peer in on all the other courts if required. Radio I'm not sure about, but it's not like at Wimbledon where you send a reporter out to any court. At Flushing Meadows they just sit in a coverage room starying at banks of screens. As the prominent Americans and other superstars are always on the show courts, that's all the domestic carriers require.
I roomed one year with a girl from Luxembourg tebnnis who tried covering Anne Kremer at the US Open and said it was hopeless. Aussie OPen the best, then Wimbledon, US, decidedly last!
Try to remember Atlanta Olympic coverage! *shudders*
Jo finally broken after surviving numerous break points over the first couple of games in this set.
They have shown a couple of points on sky sports (from a side on angle) and they were both 20+ shot rallies. Limited evidence but could be quite a gruelling match.
Govortsova getting on top in this set. I thought there would be a change in momentum at some point, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple more changes in momentum.
