Trying to get it up on five live extra radio player, but it only gives me 4 minutes 59 seconds starting at 4pm and not the total 10 hour programme. Anybody have the same problem ? Very frustrating as I was hoping to relive the radio commentary for the match.
I don't think anyone saw that coming, except Laura. I wouldn't normally give her a prayer against Li but Li does have a tendency to blow hot and cold. One thing's for sure, the odds against Laura getting to the last 16, will be much lower

Searching for tennis courts. I reckon there's about 1 court per 25,000 people in our wonderful borough :(
Has anybody worked out what Laura's rank might be after this second round win?
Last year Laura qualified then won her first round match against Morita due to retirement, before losing in the 2nd round to Anabel Medina Garrigues. For that effort she got 160 points (60 for qualifying + 100 for 1st round win). This year she gets 100 for beating talented junior Crawford and 60 for beating Clijsters, 3 time winner of the US Open; don't you just love the ranking system! By the way, 120 points on offer if she can beat Na Li.

It does seem a bit crazy, but those generous qualifying ranking points in Grand Slams are one of the major contributions to her current ranking position and hence place in main draw here ?
Serving now a real problem, left thigh you'd have to think affecting that area of her game. When I watched her at Wrexham last year her thigh was heavily strapped but she managed to play through it before retiring after that match, hoping she can do the same here.

Watched the highlights on eurosport today. Very impressed by Laura's movement, defence, her serving and of course her forehand. Kim wasn't pitch perfect but she was playing in the same region as her best form.
