US Open qualies have been good for providing plenty of drama over the past few years.

Naomi came close last year and Johanna has been getting some good results lately, so we might be in for more of the same.

Neither Johanna or Naomi (or the Brit men) play today (I think, see below), so it will be 3 days three matches for them.

NB: The USO website for draws and schedules seems perversely unwieldy to me. You can't see the whole of the information at once, or search for a single player - even on The 'printable' versions. Which seems a pretty shoddy effort for such a grand event.

Naomi has been short on confidence all summer. It will be some achievement if she can fight back to win after losing the first set
