For some reason that I cannot understand Josh appears on the draw sheet as unranked and thus unseeded. His profile on the ITF site also says that he is unranked. This is obviously incorrect as he reached the QF of GB F11 at Felixstow thus has 2 ranking points and according to the ATP site is ranked 1390.

Perhaps his name has been spelt incorrectly.

Could be, if that really is the way rankings for drawsheets are picked up - the ranking list has his surname as two names whereas the drawsheet (and most other sources) hyphenate it.

That doesn't explain why his ITF profile has him unranked. His playing activity in the same profile includes his QF appearance at Felixstowe.

Ah, I didn't look at that yesterday, but he is shown as ranked on ITF now http://beta.itftennis.com/ProCircuit/players/player/profile.aspx?PlayerID=100165773

Bet that the two Canadians didn't expect to face a former top-200 doubles player in R1 of a futures tournament. Is this the first time he's played since 2006? (I'm presuming it's not just someone with the same name)

He's a coach now at Nottingham, coaches Bambridge and Broady. Cleaned up a few Brit Tours a couple of years ago.
