Frustrating indeed, but generally Oli does seem to be moving in the right direction.

Some not so much at the moment.  I note that Oli's 45 ranking points this year puts him one ahead of the combined efforts of Marsalek ( 18 ), Morgan ( 12 ), Burton ( 9 ) and Broady ( 5 ).

Very true. It's hard to believe it's nearly a year since Morgan won his first (and only) futures as he has done very little since, and Broady's ranking has also plummeted several hundred places.

That one tournament win by Morgan in Spetember of last year looks like a bit a freak result. Since then he has only been past the second round of a single event.

Oli couldn't win the doubles, either, though he & Joris nearly pulled it off:

Final:  SF:  (1) Joris de Loore (BEL) & Oliver Golding WR 883 lost to (2) Daniel Glancy & Manuel Sánchez (IRL/MEX) WR 1076 by 6-3 2-6 [8-10] cry
