RE: Updates to this message board

Great job Steven. Can we change the name of the message board next :)

Well in that case thanks to RBBOT.

I think it depends if you leave the website as it is or develop it further. If you make it more of a site then it would make sense to change the name of the board to be something that includes the whole of british tennis and not just Andy.

Perhaps this chat is for another time, but I would love to see your stats used in the front page. For example a focus on the top 25 and the movement in and out of there, I guess more like that charts. Seeing as we have 25 men and women we could do a feature a week!

Whatever happened to freedom of speech?

Are you talking about the 'k******s' spam? If so, that's been an ongoing issue for months if not years - we get the odd batch of it, ban/delete the threads and it all goes away for a while. A bit of an irritation but not a big deal and not something we can do any more about than we already do, except perhaps for not mentioning the operative word so as not to attract any more of them than we have to, hence the **s earlier in this paragraph wink

I'm not sure what it has got to do with free speech though (?)

OK, I didn't know that this has been going on for years, because I've just noticed it in the last month or so, and it's been annoying me a lot.

Anyway, I just made a post about that in this thread, because I wanted to know if there is a way to stop it. I worded it a bit cheekily... something like "who wants a shiny new kitchen?" but I thought a moderator would see what I meant and just reply with what they're doing to stop the spam (if there is a way) or just ignore it (ignoring it is not a big deal, you guys have better work to do than replying to my posts about spam). But it wasn't in a tournament thread or anything (this IS the thread for that sort of stuff), and I was hardly trolling anyone, so I don't know why it was deleted.

Not a great deal, but yeah, I don't like seeing my posts deleted unless there is a particular reason. And I'm glad that we don't have a player called Daniel K*****ner, I guess.

What are you talking about, Salmon? I have certainly deleted a few threads advertising kitchens, but I haven't seen any other spam? Of course I'm not on the board as much as I used to be but I'm still on three or four times a day.

Is anyone else experiencing the font getting smaller on this site? It is for me - but only on this site - no other web pages?

Not me. I had those virus problems a week ago but they have gone away (touch wood). But no font changes.

I get mixed font sizes especially when viewing on mobile, wasn't sure if it was just me but it appears not.

Thanks all - good to know its only my problem.

Very strange, as I've never touched any of my settings and all other sites on the same browser are acting normally.

Anyone got any ideas how to increase font size in Google Chrome?

Click on the 3 black bars just under the "X" at the top right.

Click on "Settings"

Right at the bottom, click on "show advanced settings"

There is a font size option on that page.
