The arcade is fantastic. The arcade is awful.

I spend most of the time when I am supposed to be working (at home) avoiding exactly these sort of games. And now here they are on one of my most frequently visited sites! 

I spend so much time not thinking about them I don't even realise when I have played them. Apparently I have the high score with 'airfox' and I wasn't aware I'd even tried it. That must be some sort of record! 

I have been de-throned as airfox champion - stunning score from Bethan, I'll have a go at bettering that in a minute

Imoen, how did you get 90,000 on Tetris and how did Mkkreuk get 13,000 on Snake???

far too much time on my hands!! also doing something else at the same time so the game is just a background helps as well. (of course multi-tasking is generally a female thing so that may not help everyone)

I did have - for 2 whole hours! (before everybody else really got started)

Not really my scene, I'm a bit past it now.  OK, a lot past it!

Just failed to pass Bethan's score on airfox

Lost concentration at the start and lost 2 lives very quickly and then took too much of a risk at the end and lost several lives which I needed in hand for level 16 where it's really hard to avoid being shot at.

Sorry mkkreuk, so far I've just played airfox and become a little obsessed with it + the asteroid game which I'm very bad at. I'll have a go at some of the others later today and see whether I can provide a decent challenge.

I think Vik has played quite a few times but the standard of scores on some of the games is so high now, I think he's buried some way down the high scores table as he hasn't played them for a couple of days. Stagger is on holiday at the moment should be back in the next couple of days. As I've mentioned above, I've been a chicken so far on some of the games but plan to have a big go soon.

Regarding the views/posts on topics: The views count you see for each thread on the General Discussion section page, is for the first page only. After that, to find the total views count for a thread, you have to check the views for the first post on each page and add them together. Eg: this thread has so far 467 views.
