R1: Ross Hutchins / Jonathan Marray WR 51 v Fabio Fognini / Juan Monaco (ITA/ARG) WR 237

Not a bad first round draw but Mirnyi and Nestor await in round two.

 

Edit:  sorry, RJA, couldn't resist correcting the spelling of Jonny's full Christian name. wink

It must be great to be ranked high enough to play in Masters events for these guys. The flip side seems to be that as a 1st round loss records you a zero points score in your best 18, the a few of these and you're suffering.

Getting 90 points for winning one match makes it more than worth it as long as you don't have a string of first round defeats.
