After a set of 2 holds and 10 breaks, the second set goes into a tie-break.

In case anyone is wondering

Burn held, then broke, Evo broke back, held, then broke, Burn broke back, Evo broke, Burn broke back, Evo broke, Burn broke back, Evo broke, Burn broke back

And right on cue Evo breaks back for 3-3

Just 2 service holds in the last 14 games. I really hope that there are no suspicious betting patterns on this match.

There was a shocking run of 5 service holds but eventually Evo gets the decisive break and wins the match

6-2, 6-7(2), 7-5

Really don't know what to make of that

Not good furious

IIRC there is hardly any parking round the club (just a small car park at the back), everyone else has to park on the street and pay for the pleasure (I guess the players get that refunded).

Other results from LTA twitter

Pauffley bt Sidorenko 2&6
Cox bt Edmund 3&3

So Semis are

Pauffley v Evans
Cox v Milton

LTA twitter got Pauffley's score wrong. He actually won 6-1, 7-6(2) according to both the draw sheet and the ITF site.

Very sorry indeed for Mr Bloomfield; that's wretched.

The club is in Hampstead actually but it is very much a middle class area.

It most certainly isn't, but if, as Mike said, it's NW6, that most certainly ain't Finchley, either, which covers N2 (East Finchley), N3 (Church End, or Finchley Central to the uninitiated & where I used to live) & N12 (North Finchley, where I happen to live now).  Absolutely appalled to hear what happened to Richard. furious
