Not exactly a cake-walk opening round for Andy, but he should manage to make the second round this time round:

Weeks 31 & 32? It's just a one week tournament, isn't it - or at least it spans a day (or two, depending on what day you call the start of a week) of week 30 and all week 31.

Nasty draw for Andy all round. Gasquet and Berdych are also possible opponents - and that's before he gets to the semis! Not so much the ranking as people he has had trouble with in the past.

Oh bother. So it's a tough first round. And a tough 3rd round. And in some ways worst possible scenario QF. Bottom half of draw top seeds definitely have reason to feel ill done by compared to top half.

Yeah, in the past when someone who he'd have had a tough match against in a later round got knocked out, he bottled it earlier. However, he didn't at Wimby this year, so let's hope that pattern holds and not he less successful ones.

Hurdle #1 successfully navigated the next match should be a bit easier.

I thought Andy was looking a bit jaded towards the end - probably after yesterday's doubles match taking its toll. Does he get a day off now? With 6 possible matches over 9 days, I would think so.

Andy is second on Centre Court tomorrow, after a ladies' match (Venus W. v Wozniack). Maybe about 1.30?

Andy really playing well at the moment double break up in first, and in other news he will play in the mixed with Robbo, which I actually think is a great idea. They would only need 2 wins to secure a medal.
