Very dissapointing. She should be looking at winning 25ks now
I don't think these doubles results have yet been recorded:
QF: Tara Moore & Mel South WR 612 defeated Nadia Abdalá (MEX) & Sabrina Bamburac WR 1277 by 4 & 4
QF: (3) Nicha Lertpitaksinchai & Peangtam Plipuech (THA/THA) WR 559 defeated (WC) Michaela Frlicka (GER) & Eden Silva UNR by 2 & 5
QF: Ivonne Cavalle (ESP) & Nicola Slater WR 1284 defeated (4) Anna Fitzpatrick & Jade Windley WR 593 by 1-6 6-1 [15-13] - can't argue about the symmetry there...
QF: Daneika Borthwick & Lisa Whybourn WR 1176 defeated Sarah Borwell & Ruth Seaborne WR 1942 by 0-6 6-3 [10-3]
*****
SF: Tara Moore & Mel South WR 612 lost to (3) Nicha Lertpitaksinchai & Peangtam Plipuech (THA/THA) WR 559 by 6-2 4-6 [8-10]
SF: Ivonne Cavalle (ESP) & Nicola Slater WR 1284 defeated Daneika Borthwick & Lisa Whybourn WR 1176 by 4 & 2
Final: (3) Nicha Lertpitaksinchai & Peangtam Plipuech (THA/THA) WR 559 vs Ivonne Cavalle (ESP) & Nicola Slater WR 1284
So only a 25% Brit interest in the final. Better than the singles, I suppose...
For the sake of completeness:
Final: (3) Nicha Lertpitaksinchai & Peangtam Plipuech (THA/THA) WR 559 defeated Ivonne Cavalle (ESP) & Nicola Slater WR 1284 by 2 & 5

Care to elaborate?
Tara is 19, has just equalled her best ever points haul reaching a round beyond her seeding and you think it's "very disappointing"
So did you also think Tara should not have lost to the top seed, someone ranked about 150 places higher, who then went on to take the title?
Personally, I would've loved to see Tara win, but to discribe her performance as "very disappointing" is deluded and an insult to both Tara & Gronert.
