The top seeds are the Bryans...

Not any more, they're not:  looks as though they've withdrawn, their place in the top slot having been taken by Lukas Dlouhy & Nicolas Mahut, who've been "promoted" to fifth seeds, so Colin & Ross are now top dogs! wink

Hardly surprising given that Mike Bryan was still playing in the Wimbledon mixed doubles final at 9:00 last night.

Bad news from James, though it certainly explains the loss:

"Had a fall in practice on friday before I played and hurt my wrist- decided to give it a go but wasn't good! No fracture but won't be able to play Atlanta next week! Time to hit the gym and get ready for the rest of the trip....tough one but it happens!! Off to tampa now..."

The wins for Dom & TCH & Colin & Ross were good news to come home to.

QF:  Treat Conrad Huey (PHI) & Dominic Inglot vs (WC) Chris Guccione & Lleyton Hewitt

QF:  Kei Nishikori & Go Soeda (JPN/JPN) vs (2) Colin Fleming & Ross Hutchins

The winners of those two matches play one another in the semi....

Inglot and Huey are a set and a break (*3-1) up.

edit: they win 7-5 6-3

bit of a serving fest as far as I could tell!

They just got broken again ... (Ross's serve both times) and t'others are serving for the 2nd set at *5-1.

I guess they've not had much match practice since coming back from respective times out for injuries and the early loss at Wimbledon didn't help. They could do with going deep here to get grass practice ahead of the Olympics.
