Disappointed to them in the same quarter as I thought they both had a chance of making it through.

are the courts still godawful here? would have to put any serve volleyers favourites for their matches if so.

1s set to James 7-5 thanks to 3 dfs from Brezac.
Strangely one of the courts hat play suspended for a while with rain but the others continued!

Word serving shambolicly, it's incredible to think he's actually made the top 150. SO 1 dimensional

56% 1st set, 42% 2nd, 38% 3rd. Not good enough.

Absolute shocking result. I know the courts here produce some funny matches but to lose 2 and 1 after taking the first set is just not good enough. Sadly these dramatic collapses are becoming all too frequent.

Richard's hope of repeating his previous success here has gone in Q1 this year as he loses an extremely close match against a former WR16 ->
6-7(5) 6-7(4).
Only one break point in the match saved by Brezac cry

Very disappointing results from James & Richard.  Let's hope the doubles boys can do better:

R1:  (WC) Steve Johnson & Denis Kudla (USA/USA) vs Treat Conrad Huey (PHI) & Dominic Inglot

R1:  Vasek Posposil & Sam Querrey (CAN/USA) vs (2) Colin Fleming & Ross Hutchins

The top seeds are the Bryans...
