GSM Errani 6-1 6-1.

That was pretty grim watching.

I like Anne but she is awful when playing the top players she can't even compete with them oh well

Never really in it. Agree that Anne just cannot do it when facing a big gun. It's a shame. I didn't expect her to win but did hope the score would be a little closer. In the end a straight forward win for Errani.

Bad from Anne. At least i thought she'd put her game out there and give Errani a match. People were ooing over how well Sara played but she hit 3/4 pace balls and Anne did nothing with them. As soon as Sara plays a hard hitting player who doesn't miss she'll loose easily

I thought that Anne, although out gunned could have done better as she proved on a few opints when she pulled the trigger and hit huge foreahnd winners. But she doesn't seem to believe, according to the commentry one thing her caoch is working on. Again, head over ability!

McHale just won in two competitive sets. Shame Johanna couldn't grab her chance on Tuesday. I think she would have had a good shot at getting to R3. Let's hope she keeps injury free and keeps her performance levels high.

In case anyone hasn't seen. Elena's match has been moved to court 2 and will be starting any time now.

I'll be surprised if she wins a game.

I'm a bit unhappy that Elena & Anne have the Olympic places because frankly I think Hev & Laura would stand a much better chance of winning a match.
I suppose it's like getting your gold watch. It's much deserved in terms of what they've done for British tennis, but slightly unrealistic in terms of what they might achieve.

Lost first set 6-0 and is a break down after a long opening game in the second set.

Total mis-match so far.

Have to agree there. And I'm sorry to sound like a cracked record but HOW MUCH LONGER is this bloody useless Virginia Wade going to be employed by the BBC? Can't someone tell her that at the age of 67 her horrible girly exclamations are just hideously grotesque. Quite apart from all her other general incompetence.

Couldnt agree more, Anne and Bally have no chance unless they draw the two tripartite wildcards.
