Oh dear. Another story of so close...

Had McHale at 0-40, but then played some poor shots.

Mental fortitude seems to be the thing a lot of the British players are missing. They are good enough but lack that killer instinct.

Another one that could have been a Brit win.

Been difficult to watch so far today, two good performances from Laura and Johanna but just not quite enough against seeded opponents.

If Elena and Anne play as well as Laura and Johanna they should win comfortably against much weaker opposition and get us at least to the 3 wins we were expecting

Painful to see Johanna throw that away in the end. Had some great chances and played some excellent shots. Too many wayward errors though too
