Draws are funny things, aren't they. Just looking at the 4th quarter, where you have Kohlschreiber/Haas and Zopp/Jaziri next to each other. Both Zopp and Jaziri are fine players, but there's a slight disparity in the level of the two matches.
Murray's draw is nasty: that's one challenging quarter -- and does he play anyone (if it goes according to seeding) after Davydenko who's under 7 feet? (Exaggerated for effect ... but Karlovic, Anderson, Cilic/Raonic, and possibly Del Potro would be quite a run!)
Davydenko has a rubbish record on grass; hates playing on it apparently. Career record is 9W/18L; at Wimblers its 7W/10L. He's won 2 matches at Halle (lost 4), 0/2 at Queens and 0/2 at Den'bosch.
At Wimbledon in 2003, R1, he lost a 5-setter to Lee Childs (then ranked 487 to Davy's #35). And to top all that he lost to grasscourt legend Willy Canas in R1 at Den'bosch the following year.
If Andy loses this I think I might mope for several days.

I have been so pumped in the last few years at the start of every major thinking 'this could be the one'. It's not there at the moment, still hoping for the best obviously but expectations are very low.

A bit like the England football team? Could work in our favour
And very nice to come home this afternoon after my trip to Wimbledon yesterday and see Andy playing so well. Looks like it will be Karlovic next, he is currently 2-0 sets up against Sela.
Andy's next opponent will be Ivo Karlovic. Andy leads the H2H 3-0, but all have been on hard: Ivo is much more dangerous on grass. Fingers crossed Andy comes out playing well again.
