Only just able to get on the computer! What a fantastic, brilliant win for Jonny and Freddie!!! So so pleased for them! Very impressed with the way they kept their cool after losing the 4th set.
Can still hardly believe they won this final. I thought they'd blown it after losing the 4th-set TB. What a performance from the Brit-Dane pair. Pity L was so ungracious at the end. So pleased the Centre Court was virtually full to cheer the guys home.
Truly, truly remarkable story. Such great play, such composure, not just 1 or 2 upsets but they beat 4 seeded teams and 2 pretty capable teams in the other rounds. I hope that Jonny gets all the acclaim he deserves because this is an inspirational story and he will make a great role model.
Looking to the future Jonny now has at least a year where he can play pretty much any ATP event he wants and will be having people queueing up to be his partner. It is hard to say how his career will go from here but if he can reproduce his form of this week, I know that it will trickier on other surfaces, there is no reason why he can't have a good career for the next 4 or 5 years, maybe longer. His serve has been particular good, he was last broken in the 1st game of the QF, and if he can keep it going that well he can surely do well on most surfaces.
Well, I was going to take a day off tennis today before things go crazy tomorrow ... but no chance LOL
What a fantastic match and how brilliantly did Jonny Marray play? He can't have been feeling as calm as he looked, surely ... yet the way he served it out, maybe he did!

They had won three of their previous 5 matches in 5 sets after losingthe 4th, so they were well practised at it!
The O2 qualification situation is that the top 7 pairs in the race get in followed by the top-ranked slam winners outside the top 7, with the second top-ranked slam winners outside the top 7 as 1st alternates before the 8th-ranked pair get in.
So, they are almost certain to get in, but would need to end up in the top 7 *or* have all the other slam winners end up in the top 7 or be ranked lower than them to be 100% certain. They could of course win the US Open and make sure!
Also re. rankings (doesn't seem to have been mentioned in the last couple of pages but I haven't had time to read the rest, so it may have been earlier), Jonny will jump from GB no. 5 to GB no. 1 on Monday, in the top 25 and probably on the edge of the top 20.
And to think we all laughed at the silly Wimbledon film because the idea of a British wild card winning a Wimbledon men's title was too far-fetched. They just picked the wrong competition.

Do you think that he could maybe have a word with that guy Murray and explain to him that playing in the biggest match of your life is no big deal and that you just go out and play your best tennis
Absolutely fantastic from Jonathan Marray and of course his partner Nielsen who looks sounds like one of the greatest guys on the tour. Wimbledon Champion, its hard to believe it!! Fairytale story at its best
I hope this isnt overshadowed by Andy Murray at all, win or lose tomorrow
Mentions that he will be going to the States for a few weeks (sure that will changes to 2 months). Playing with Freddie in at least one tournament. Looking for partners for the others.
