I agree it's very unusual - My guess is they're expecting rain (more so than usual) and so want to get as many matches done as quickly as possible. Especially if Monday/Tuesday is supposed to be fine and then the rest of the week rainy or something, then it's best to get all of round 1 finished so you've got half the number of players hanging around/matches needing courts.

So?   They're seeded & Jamie's a Brit & a former mixed doubles champion.  Why shouldn't they?

I find the dislike of some people on here towards Jamie to be displeasing, just cause he has the audacity to some time player with is brother. No one forcing Andy to play with him. I though this site was suppose to support all the british players
