ouch Johnnylad, that has got to hurt. At least you weren't the one to pick Berdych to win the thing. And you weren't completely alone in having him in the last two.

Everyone's picks can now been seen at http://www.britishtennis.net/Competitions.html with win/loss shading. It doesn't make good reading for many of us!!

Giving a quick eyeball on that, the score range  I saw  was 13 to 24, with average Joe on 21,  so  23 or 24 is probably top ten.

I had Bird-brain to the quarters too, so not impressed. I'd decided that Mahut would beat Isner, so not to much damage done there.
Don't think I did too well, but hey it's my first attempt.

Managed to get 23 thanks to my risky picks of Klizan and Janowicz, but put too much faith in Isner.

19 plus hoping for Mahut and Almagro. Not bad for a newbie .

does that mean Isner counts as a muppet then?

I tend to do better in one half of the draw than the other...given the joys of yesterday I hope that isn't my better side this year!

A basic results table is now available at http://www.freewebs.com/britishtennis/Competitions.html this will be updated at least twice a day so we can all see how far we've dropped!

lol, why do you think I worked so hard to get the results out there? And now my computer's broken and taken all the results files with it no one will be able to see how far I've fallen until next week

Not everyone - it's potentially very good news for the 28% of us who didn't have him reaching the Final, especially if the player we actually had reaching the Final  from the bottom half manages to get there instead. It's even better for the 9% among them who didn't even think he would reach the semis, even if picked him to win today's match and another couple of rounds.
