  The relevant clause in the WTA rulebook is: "If a player or team receives a walkover in the 1st round, and there is no Alternate or Lucky Loser to take the spot, ....... the player or team will receive ranking points from the round preceding their elimination."

I think that means she will only get QR1 points (but QR2 prize money) if she loses, but I may be wrong in my interpretation.

Jade is about to start, and hopefully she can make the clause irrelevant - frustrating if she doesn't get the points, as she would have had a good chance of victory against Grandin
