Hmm, you would think professional tennis players could hope with getting hit by a tennis ball but apparently not...
If Liezel did say the first bitchy comment as seems the case today it's fair enough for Heather and Laura to respond. The handshake at the end of the match is not the place to have a go at your opponents.
I guess if you freeze framed any of our lives you'd get happy and grumpy photos. I'm not sure I'd be too happy if I had random people photographing me the whole time just because I could play tennis.
Liezel is repugnant and needs to pipe down if she thinks harassing teenage girls about who served first is appropriate. I dont believe for a second the girls did it intentionally and if Liezel noticed it, the umpire is there for a reason. Liezel is a cheat and its very well known on tour.
On a more relevant note, well done to Wabson, awesome stuff. Time to make a splash at Wimbledon now ladies!!

Looks as though Huber (& partner) got their comeuppance: Llagostera & Martínez took the first set by 6-4 & appear then to have won the match/title by a retirement (the LS just says they are the winners)!
Just thought - I'd say that it's quite amazing that Paszek won the title. Congratulations to her after a difficult year. She toughed it out and beat Bartoli and Kerber both in three long sets.
My point is only last week she lost to Anne in the first round at Birmingham 2 & 5... Her QF at Wimbledon last year seemed a distant memory I expect. This result for Paszek is quite a turn around, either that or Anne was playing, if only for a match, at least as well as she was a few years ago. Let's hope the British women can take some inspiration from that...
