Well I know it was a loss, but as losses go not a bad one. Would love to have seen the match.

That's such an impressive performance against the Number 1 doubles players in the world.

Showed the odd point on Eurosport, and you could hear the cheers from centre when the Brits won a big point.

The closeness of this result most likely proves two things.
1. They're both playing the best tennis of their careers an are on the up. and
2. They're really starting to gel as a partnership.

Apparently they got a little bit of a ticking off by Huber at the end of the match for some of the tactics they were using.

Also Hev said yesterday that they would love to keep up the partnership long term.

Just hope they get the Olympics WC.

Great performance by the girls, would be interested to know what the dodgy tactics were.

Oh it transpires that Huber thought that the wrong British player opened the serving at the start of the TB. After the handshake at the end of the match our 2 reacted by saying what are you worried about, you won didn't you.

There could possibly be a very marginal advantage from Heather serving first in the TB but if that's what did happen it was more than likely a mistake and it would be up to the umpire to tell them to change server.

Huber does have a reputation for being a bit of a 'character' on court.

Heather's response: "It was unnecessary, they won the match."
Laura's response "Who cares"

Huber is passive aggressive bitch. Fact.

Haha. That's what I was suggesting when I said that she was reknowned for being a bit of a 'character'.

I think Laura's dismissive wave and 'whatever' was the best response to be fair, despite that not being particularly 'adult professional'. I don't think Huber deserves much more than that.
