If you didn't get back in time, Golding won as well, 6-4, 6-3. Monaco wasn't playing well, but Golding had some really fine tennis ... lovely serves, cracking forehands, and some really nicely judged shots. Very well done.
Between that and Almagro/Cilic (which also had some fine tennis), the Boodles people got their money's worth. Nice that it's live streamed free for those of us who can't quite afford the event itself!
Thanks - I probably would have caught some of it but things were rather hectic when I got back so I didn't get near the computer! Good to hear Oli played well. I saw him at Queens, and he had some good play but too many unforced errors (especially double faults). Hope he can bring his best against Andreev!!
