no thornley/rice or huey/inglot wildcard for doubles? would be better than hewitt, dont see where all the love for him in this country is, everyone i know dosnt like him
Huey/Inglot may have got in on their own merrit, they did for Roland Garros and there are still a further 3 Wildcards so Im sure they will probs get it.

Theyve seemed to have gone all out juniors for qualifying which of course is good for experience but theyve got to take the responsibility when potentially none of them win, all way out of their depth in my opinion
8 qualy Wildcards, you have the playoffs for 2 places so a further 2 are given out in which one may go to Bloomers for his run at Nottingham maybe!

lol i think that's true but for a low ranked player he's quite a big name still to draw in crowds...

Dom confirmed in an interview with John Inverdale on ITV4 during the first week of the French Open that he would be competing at Wimbledon, I assumed at the time with TCH (& with Laura Robson in the mixed), so I doubt that they actually need a wild card.
I dislike Hewitt, but don't forget he's a previous champion (2002).

So Rice and Thornley passed over again ( so far ) for main draw doubles WCs, in spite of continuing to advance their rankings and both now being in the top 200 with David being out for quite a few weeks. I thought the 250 guideline applied to doubles as well for an all British pair
Well, last year they just kept their heads down and just went and qualified.
7 Brits in the top 600 in the QWC playoffs (and that's with Boggo not entering, Dan Cox injured and Bloomers & Corrie otherwise engaged in Nottingham!) - eek!
