Sela wins 6-2 6-4

Richard showing some "You cannot be serious" attitude twice in the 2nd set one of which on a break back point.

Nearly every net approach by Richard was punished by Sela's passing shot or lob.

thats a shame, but are we to assume he's done enough to get a Wimby Q spot or do we thing Ed will get it?

I would be very surprised but the commentator did say " A wildcard would be nice" having quoted many of Richards achievements.

Josh Goodall just lost first set 3-6 now 1-0* in 2nd

Josh lost 6-3 6-3, good for him to get his first challenger win of the season yesterday though.

Corrie a very similar player to Baker, no outstanding weapons but very consistent all around

Lots of matches seemed to restart but Ed's nowhere to be seen. Did I miss something?

Been trying to find out, Steven, & got absolutely nowhere:  the results section of the live scoreboard appears faulty, there was no answer from the Nottingham Tennis Centre & the people who would have known at the National Tennis Centre had apparently knocked off for the day, so no, not that I'm aware!   furious

I've just seen he's on the OoP for tomorrow 6-4 2-5 to finish, so it looks like his match never got back on for some reason even though others did.
